Checking In
CHECKING IN AT HAYS REGIONAL AIRPORT
To help ensure that your trip goes smoothly, please arrive at the Hays Regional Airport at least one hour prior to your scheduled flight departure time. This will allow you enough time for checking in and passing through security screening. Additional time might be necessary when traveling around holidays or other peak travel times. Follow this timeline to make sure your travel is a breeze:
CHECK-IN COUNTER OPENS | ARRIVE AT AIRPORT | BAGGAGE CHECK CLOSES | CHECK-IN PROCESS CLOSES |
90 minutes prior to scheduled flight departure time | At least one hour prior to scheduled flight departure time | 45 minutes prior to scheduled flight departure time | 30 minutes prior to scheduled flight departure time |
The times above apply to flights operated by United and United Express® departing from the Hays Regional Airport. Baggage check and check-in cannot be reopened upon closure.
For flights operated at another airport or by another carrier, the times applicable to that airport or carrier will apply. Visit United’s Airport Information page for general guidelines. If in doubt, it is always recommended to check the specific guidelines associated with the airport you are flying from. United has the right to cancel reservations, deny boardings, and refuse the acceptance of checked baggage of any customer who does not meet their applicable check-in times or boarding requirements.
CHECKING IN ONLINE OR ON THE APP
If eligible, check-in is available starting 24 hours prior to scheduled flight departure at United.com or on the United app. Please visit United’s Airport Process page for more information.
PAYMENT TRANSACTIONS AT AIRPORTS SERVED BY UNITED
The United check-in counters and kiosks at some of the airports do not accept cash as a form of payment. For more information, visit the Accepted Forms of Payment page.
